cutting system is the first available that provides the benefits of
computerized pattern nesting, digital defect marking and labor saving cutting
tools without the equipment cost and maintenance associated with CNC cutting
machines.
Our unique digital defect marking method allows 2 operators to
simultaneously mark imperfections on the hide. This innovation allows the
marking of defects on an entire hide in 1 to 2 minutes. The HideSaver©
system was engineered to han-dle up to 6 different defect types and 6 different
pattern quality zone types, so even the most demanding quality standards can be
maintained. And since all of the defects are marked with projected virtual
lines, gone are the days of cleaning excess chalk and tape residue from the
face of your leathers.
The HideSaver© is also able to increase
yield on manually cut Analine leathers which is not possible using any other
automated leather cutting equipment available today. This is accomplished by
allowing selected digital patterns to be placed in the proper location and
orientation on the hide using a wireless mouse. After placing critical
patterns, the remaining patterns are automatically nested in seconds by a
computer for maximum leather yield. Nested patterns are then projected onto the
hide for cutting, eliminating the need to mark the patterns.
The
HideSaver© outputs a report for each job which contains yield information
for each hide in the job as well as an aver-age yield for the entire job. This
report also includes start and stop times for defect marking, manual nesting,
automatic nesting, cutting and kitting. The system even outputs a list of the
pattern names cut by each operator. |
